Just fuck my shit up, senpai.
Or say something nice. Whatever floats your boat, man. Here's some of my art.
Digital artist, btw. Photoshop. Some of my stuff is better than others.
I like your themes, and some of these show great promise of what you will be able to do with brush strokes and atmosphere, but I think you need to step away from digital and actually learn how to paint.
Not because digital is bad, but because you have all the shortcomings of a purely digital developing artist.
Other than that, it's the standard: shallow values, flat forms, insubstantial, melting wax figures, half-assed perspective, no atmospheric perspective, etc.
Your ideas are interesting, but the execution is lacking.

I appreciate your thoughts. I haven't had this kind of commentary for a while. I graduated college some time ago and it's been a while since my last critique.

>first focal point is a big, gilded phallic object on a horse
>second focal point is a big, gilded phallic object firmly grasped by a strong, virile man on a horse
>third focal point is the taught, young, sculpted ass of a boy in tights gazing upon the horse as he is surrounded by pale, dried up corpse-like women
I am picking up what you are putting down, my friend.

Ha ha ha. My sister did mention the boy's ass was a bit..."Uhhh..." I wasn't really sure what to say to that comment.
I wouldn't say TOP knotch, at least not yet. I can tell you enjoy the process and actually think about how to create wholesome, detailed compositions. Strong grasp on the fundies and a whimsical aesthetic.
My only gripe is that these are digital. As digital pieces they really pale in comparison to the current standard. If, however, they were large-scale oil paintings I think they would be impressive on a professional level. Just my two cents.
Keep on painting!

Alright. Just out of curiosity, what do you think is the current digital standard that's so great? I have a few ideas, but I want to know where you're coming from.
you need this https://www.ctrlpaint.com/videos/value-distribution watch the rest of the series too

Go to Artstation and look at the images on the front page.

Huh. Okay.
A much more modern standard with slightly different objectives. Cool stuff.
>>2920122
Yeah. You're right. I do. You just fucked my shit all up. lol. Thanks for that.
good use of colours and strong composition, thumbnails look very pleasant.
imo it falls apart when you open it and look at mediocre anatomy.
you're the gross opposite of the people only doing figure drawings all day everyday and not being able to do any enviroments.

Just might make it.

Now my professor did mention my anatomy was lacking back in the day. She was right. I've got some work to do there.
