Good taste. I sometimes wonder how much I want to get better because while I do, that feeling isn't so strong that it stops me from doing anything else. I have too much control, got to learn how to let loose like you, OP.

Feeling that way is pretty normal. But it sounds like you're plateauing/dipping in the mastery curve. Maybe you just need something to stimulate the next spike in improvement.

I don't get it, if you don't have a love for drawing and you just want to get good for the sake of getting good then it's pretty alarming and you should reconsider your career. If you're just burnt out from practicing then it's normal, take a small break and do something for fun trying to apply what you learned.

Seeing my old work is just making me cringe pretty hard. Yeah I've been meaning to draw something I wanted to try drawing. Will prob do that for a bit to see if I feel any better

Maybe you're just burned out. Take a break from all the practice and get in the mindset of no-stress drawing for a while, go outside and draw a bunch of trees, it always works for me
