its the Spacing Guild Hieghliner from Dune. kinda abstract, the shape came out during sketching phase. they dont need any engines or whatnot - guild navigator just bends the space.

to answer your other question. I did 1and a half year in art school. meh- but i didnt realy like what i was studying so.. (interior design) what helped me the most were ateliers. still goin to one

From what i learned you need to put a lot, a lot of hashtags in the description that are mostly vague and general(#art #fantasy #graphism) etc.. sometimes liking and following other instafags get you some followers back. I like the artists community on instagram (tatoo artists, comic artists and such), but the majority of those arejust otps ,drawing a face of a celebrity and get 300+likes... or just redoing badass comics arts from others. In fine, Instagram can grant you littlle fame but not for your beloved work, just recopy photos and bang 1000 followers. Ez

This sentiment is downright naive. There are tons of successful artists and illustrators out there with tens of thousands of followers that don't do what you described.

I save an image to a Google Drive folder, and it automatically pops up on my Galaxy S6. It's dead simple.

i haven't especially, i liked the idea of an anglerfish because of how retardedly fucked up the female anglerfish look, which would make it fun. i started the background by mixing charcoal and india ink until it was pasty and that was a really nice matte color then i did the fish with pastel, but the colors weren't intense enough for me so i'm trying to lightly go over it all with acrylic but it's hard to not over do it. fish are neat, i might do some more who knows.

The most useful advice I've had for this sorta shit is just being more active in general, liking stuff under tags like illustration and sketch and stuff helps and many people will like your stuff in return. The only thing is, for some reason artists have this really shitty habit of following someone, and then immediately unfollowing. For that reason I say just follow people who's work you genuinely like. Also just posting consistently.

Me personally, I like to post good sketches from a sketchbook, WIP's of digital work, final digital work, prints of finished digital work, detail shots of finished work, and the occasional lifestyle shot. It's a good idea to try and stretch out a finished drawing into multiple posts if you can. This goes especially true for work that takes a long time to completed. Though I think random doodles - unless there is something funny or clever about them - are not worth posting.

In general, the more stuff you post, the better. You need to strike a balance between volume and quality. If you're updating once every 2 weeks, that's not going to cut it. ~3 uploads a week is reasonable goal to shoot for.
