Otherwise, what do you want us to say? It's an amateur drawing. Could be a lot worse, but it's not like a professional portrait or anything. Rather than try to find if it has "value" or "worth" or whatever by asking us, just be happy that you spent time with your friend and he did a drawing of you and then gave it to you.

I am glad you got to spend time together and most importantly value that time but yeah. Even Printer paper is great for sketching on. Hammermill makes REALLY nice stuff that is like 14$ a ream (500sheets) and will make your sketches look great.
