Is there any easy to use app that replaces the good old wooden

There are many but I find them all difficult to use. Not impossibly difficult to use it just sucks if you're in the mood of drawing and don't want to spend half an hour posing a Mannequin...

I found the mannequin very useful to own to help with foreshortening issues, and to think about form and mass (it is better to actualy precieve something in real 3d than to have a computer projected abstraction), but it is very limited in poses.

As for app I own the Skelly App by Proko, but I didn't find it very useful.

mannikins aren't for studying. They're more of a tool to help you draw from imagination.

elaborating on Skelly, my main problem is that it is limited to smartphones, and that the shoulder blades and clavicles does not move together, you have to position them yourself, and that the range of motion of the joints is not limited to realistic motion

you can make a cheap maniqui paper. (Its very easy to make and cost less than a dollar.

I'ts 100% better than the traditional wood maniqui, because you can pose the maniqui in almost all poses that you want. The only problem with the maniqui is to get dirty easily because the paper.

Are action figures good for study like manikins?

Designdoll is pretty good but you have to manually proportion the default doll to get rid of the anime stuff.

does anyone know if body kun is actually any good? or is it just a meme? I feel like its to small, but I dunno.
