Draw high quality drawings and such a lot and post it in Facebook and other social media. Do really good work and show it around your town. Let cafes and places sell it for a commission and leave a business card that says affordable portaits and landscapes ect.

Figure out what people want and make samples of it, people will just come to you.

thanks, and no not really. I am really inconsistent about posting on tumblr, and I only have about 300 followers on there since I made it a year ago, almost 200 came in the past like 4 months, so I think those are still active. I post on deviant art and only have 11 followers, I guess people don't go there as much.

I enjoy drawing nsfw shit, but will draw whatever I need to. I haven't drawn anything else but I think I'm a fast learner so I could do it. I can't post this stuff in a portfolio I don't think. I will have to make some new shit or something.

If I make a portfolio in the next week or so, could I post it on freelance sites and get work? I don't know how reliable that is. I'm at the point where I will sell shit for nickels. 2 people have approached me for porn commissions a while ago, but at the time I didn't really need money so I said I don't do that yet. Do you think I'd be able to get like 5 commissions or so for like $30? I don't know how much people are willing to pay. I know big artists do it for like 60-80 bucks.

I suggest go into business for yourself, incorporate and market yourself. Produce the highest quality hyperrealism, the more photorealistic your art is, the better.

Cold email people and offer services. Work cheaper AT FIRST if it'll help land a long-term client. But charge way fucking more than 80 bucks a pop

This guy who's pretty popular charges 45 bucks for just a sketch. I don't think I could charge more than that for full color at my level. Takes me about 4 hours to make something that's full color, so that's about 11 bucks an hour if I charge 45 bucks.

I understand that people will pay thousands for a painting to hang up but these people who hire porn artists probably don't even have jobs.

This one is for Norasuko, an even more popular artist. He makes like 3000 a month just from patreon. and he's got fuckloads of followers. I only have 300.

I am selling shit, looking up freelance content mill writing jobs, and now trying to see if theres any market for hiring shitty artists for shit money. i wasn't willing to draw tits for pennies but i guess now i am.
