I know Feng uses the method shown by Scott but is Feng's plotting sketchier/imprecise than Scott's? I haven't seen any in-depth tutorial/demo on how Feng actually constructs pic related forms, especially for organic bodies. It seems he uses the method more as an estimation tool to make things look right in perspective without being too concerned about high level accuracy and more about internalizing a system to approximate perspective on forms for fast concept turnovers that don't look out of perspective. Is this a valid analysis or does Feng use Scott's method in another certain way for organic forms?

>Scott's method
What? Scott Robertson didn't invent using perspective grids...

Think anon meant the draw-through method in his book. Probably didnt make it up on his own but sort of codified it/popularised it with his teaching, how to draw book and fzd using the same method.

You are correct in your analysis. Feng Zhu makes his students do the hardcore part first where they are not allowed to guess so they internalize it. But spending 5 hours alone plotting lines is of course, not very realistic when you're working for a fast paced industry.

Ironically, the perspective in this one is pretty funky, but it does serve as a good example of the drawing process. Thanks, anon.
I recommend checking out the yt channel, the guy has quite a few videos that could be very helpful to develop an efficient workflow for concept designers, including color and photobashing.
