Now judging from from you've posted of a drawing on a paper towel, I think it looks like crap. You don't take into consideration the material you are working on, and it makes it look lazy.

I as well stylize my work, and hope to be a fine artist one day, but what you've demonstrated shows laziness in the eyes of everyone. And that resonates not only from material, but also twists the meaning of your line.

I definitely think, as a fine artist one has to have a base level of understanding fundamental or your art looks like shit, period.
