Aside from that I think drawing both and putting them side by side might help but it also might make him go for the wrong piece.

Please don't use just one convex curve for hips, it oversimplifies one of the most delicious parts of female body. The apex is at the greater trochanter.

Hes one of my best clients Ive been tattooing him for years and he knows how I draw and everything. Ive done both his arms and chest. Tattooed his wife and when his 3 sons get old enough im gonna be tattooing them. He knows what I do and I would never stop him from trying another artist. Not the OP: You have to be careful about this kind of thing. It's a credibility issue. If he gets what he wants and it's a bad design, and turns out to look like shit, the guy is going to say OP did it and it's his fault. OP has to weigh his credibility against the desires of the client. It's not always just about doing exactly what the client wants it's about making the end product with a high enough quality.

I mean yeah anyone could lie and say OP did whatever shitty work, but in this case OP would actually have done the work.

That's a much more sexy pose though, the perspective on the one you did is much too extreme her head looks tiny it's all leg there's no sexiness to it. In the reference look at how her back is arched and how she is presenting her ass to the camera seductively and in your version she leaning back too much which makes it look less sexy the way you have drawn it. Anatomically it looks off, you're seeing too much of her back if she is twisting her torso around like that, at least get someone to pose for you or take a photo of yourself doing the pose. Your client probably knows it looks a odd even if he can't pinpoint exactly what is wrong with it.
