Your doing it wrong my friend. Simplify the top of the head into a box shape and don't use one vp that's so close to the head. You wanna space them out to avoid distorting your shit. Draw some more cubes.

I dig the environment coinhero but I think the broom girl could use more improvement. It looks wonky, esp. the lower half of the body. Maybe try working with silhouettes a bit so you can come up with a better pose? Write now the silhouette is a little hard to read. Maybe tad look better if her legs were extended and there was some negative space between her arms? Anyways, aside from that good work.

Also I like your submission jozu. Cool concept/aesthetic and well executed imo.

The perspective isn't perfect, but it's a pretty decent attempt. If the center is supposed to be a cylinder, then the top is really off.

That's pretty good.
Do you plan to stay on lineart or something more painterly?
The thickness of your lines is a bit on the fence.
If you draw full lineart, go with a thiner brush for more accuracy. It looks good for now because it's sketchy, but happen next?
Otherwise paint with masses and refine at each step.

To improve portrait, well, it's quite obvious, draw more portrait, but try to have strong variations of light between your studies. It will help you to see more details or non-details that you missed previously.

echo - the whole upper-back/shoulder area is a mess. construct the forms and then do lighting instead of trying to do both at the same time. the rest of her looks nice though

fluffable - the figures are ok. your witch is janky for all kind of reasons, the most prominent being that she's not being foreshortened at all. you just shrunk her lower half. the hat is drawn at a completely different perspective from everything else; the underside shouldn't be showing like that from this angle.

munch - i like the back study. i can tell you stumbled through it, but it could pass as "correct" to a normie. shading on the middle one's face is lovely

gottagitgud - loomis smiles on you. your studies look fantastic man. don't forget to draw from imagination (i dont know if you do already, i only see your las blog), you don't want to end up like proko

boygivingup - pick a subject and focus on that. fill a page with gestures or hands or ect.ect. aimless doodling and basic shapes are ok for warming up, but you've gotta do more afterwards. its time to step out of your comfort zone boy-o

SkeletonJelly - maybe do more quick gestures to get a better feel of the human form. you lose most sense of proportion/organic-feel on your bodies once you dive into construction.

webbeva - the rock was ok until you started drawing people on it. jesus christ man. also i see that stick-and-ball construction method you used. Seffy - a friendly doggo? i really hate how uncanny the human hands are on her. it's v unappealing. also learn some drapery, the cape is hot shit. she could be cute, lassie

Saucy - !! neat! the rocket only has one speed though. it would feel "smoother" if it started slow and accellerated exponentially as it moved forward. i could be wrong though, i don't look in on animation much.

Logmaster - her face is uncanny. soft and firm edges are your friend. you use almost exclusively hard edges.

FinlayHeathi - i like the fence and the environment around it, but that's it. don't waste your time rendering so many details on people this small in an environment study. they take over the entire piece. your understanding of basic human form is pretty lax anyways.

coinhero - this is all color and zero values. don't bother continuing unless you add some sort of depth to this flat disaster. look closer at your reference.

sasori - the bottom left sketch is the only thing worth looking at. everything else is an mindless space-filler scribble. that said- nice. work on your line weight and line confience.

Louse - left almost has dimension. you got to the trees and gave up. why force yourself to keep going after that? i don't learn anything that way, but that's just me.

BondageFairy - still pretty indifferent about your sketches. i guess im just unattracted to thin, wispy lines? the 4 figures in the middle are the only ones you put any effort into. i dont know what's going on with the rest of the page but it's not moving you forward. switch gears and try drawing something different entirely. value studies, perspective, ect.

Hman - nicely done on the perspective. the soft brush you used for the windows and bushes is really off-putting though. the entire piece is lacking... something. i can't put my finger on it.

HumanBean - i like this. it's sloppy and the perspective is lacking, but it's almost like you had f- fun

rorg - this doesn't read well at all. i thought there was a giant pink tree as the background. try some thumbnail studies instead of wasting your time with rendering a turd.

CRT - i hate everything about this from the yellow light to the unasthetic crop of the pic to the generic doodle on it. try at least a little bit, man. maybe look into compositional studies?
