Drawing photographs is an excellent beginners tool to help discard symbol drawing and draw what they see. Beyond that its mental masturbation once you don't need it and you just show off to people how "Good at drawing you are."

There are obvious mistakes in your drawing. The mouth, the face shape, and the hand is very wonky lookin. In fact, the whole picture is off. Plus the shading is very beginner tier.

It's not spot on, its not perfect, its none of that.
You got to look past the rose tinted glasses and see for what it is.
