the answer is it doesnt matter at all.
almost every pro uses photoshop tho
sinix uses corel painter and he's one of my favourites, downloaded it but aside from the awesome brush engine it is a mess, i'll use it for thumbnailing and maybe sketching tho because the scratchboard tool is beyond godlike.
