Go away, Sycra
>>2809560
He's got to be rusing us, there's no way an artist's aesthetic judgment can be so shitty
>>2809603
I think that's an older drawing.
There was a time a few years ago that a lot of latino weebs drew like that.
Some retard from Brazil had a similar style doing a fantasy comic.
>>2809603
Pure angular styles can be really nice looking, If only he wouldn't be using fucking concave shapes everywhere.
>>2809609
That doesn't look as bad as Sycra though, it's just taking its cues from 90's anime.
>>2809489
what is going on in this picture
>>2809609
i saw you talking shit at a thread some time ago about this same magazine. Why you so butthurted m8 ?
>>2809627
Watch fullmetal alchemist
>>2809479
I too would like to see more of this
>>2809637
It's not butthurt, I was replying to the same superman back then too.
Both styles remind me the same and I know it's what a lot of latino did while trying their hand at manga.
content aside ceebee is a fucking master
>>2809918
who's the artist?

this might sound weird but here I go.
Something I like about lineart is fixed width, you know, when certain area the line gets thicker and then goes back thin. Is there a theory to when is a good time to apply a thicker line? I am working on this drawing right now and I really want to make the whole lineart to look good
>>2811497
always work thin to thick anon. it's easier to thicken a thin line you already put down, as opposed to erasing away at a thick line to make it thinner.
>>2811497
>>2809479
>>2811497
it really depends on what effect you're trying to get. Line weight can do a few different things
>indicate shadow
pretty self explanatory, dark areas have thicker lines, light areas have thinner.
>indicate depth
generally, people will read something with thicker lines as being closer in space and thinner as being further away.
>direct attention
also self explanatory. People will pay attention to contrast in line weight
That being said, using a singe, even line weight isn't necessarily a bad thing. In Franco-Belgian comic traditions it's very common to use a single line weight for everything

>no nose
is that what you call "gud"?
>>2809637
i was in that thread too lol
>>2811638
We're talking about linework, not noses. Control your autism holy shit.
>>2812315
Where is the NOSE, REEEEEEEEEE!!!!
>>2809479
How does one study linework specifically without doing any imagination stuff?
>>2813079
Who's the artist?
>>2813101
ah shit wait nvm
>>2812767
>realisticly imagine fantasy :^)
>you dont :^)
>git gud :^)
> :^)
any of these responses would suffice.
or you could do the smart thing and apply these (>>2811601) techniques when drawing from a reference or doing a figure study sacrifice a little bit of realism to practice the ever important linework. but dont do this >>2809560. thats stupid.
>>2812617
>>2813172
that's a pimple
>>2813172
im still waiting for you to show me a nose anon, thats just a half drawn tear.
>>2809479
Can I have sauce on the artist that made the pic that OP posted?
>>2813483
They're fucking with you, anon. They just get their panties in a knot because anime doesn't emphasize the nose.
This might please them.
