this my most views on a single drawing the reason this has so little comments/favs is cuz most people came to it from someone posting it on reddit (it was a direct link to the DA page so im cool with it)

the only time DA posts get comments is when its shit artist commending other shit artists so that the shit artist will commend them back most decent pieces that don't make it to the front page only have around 3-4 comment

How does one get such a high views to favorites ratio? The only times I get consistent favorites is during a ~48 hour period after posting the picture to groups. After that, favorites stop almost entirely while the view count still goes up.

How do you get anyone who doesn't already watch you to see your art if you don't post it to groups? Tags seem to be fairly useless on DA unless it's really popular fandom tags.

Being social and/or and being good at art. People can see your art in the newest, and favourite it, other people will see your art when they look at other people's favs. Also "more from deviantart" section.
