How does one get better at designing and drawing vehicles like cars, bikes, trucks, stationary and in motion, from different angles/in action?
I've been practicing drawing regular objects, even firearms but they all look so squarish and obtuse.
Any halp?

read through scott robertson's how to draw. it goes over all of this, including replicating curves in perspective etc so you have matching lines in perspective and all that jazz. he's real good at doing vehicles and it goes over it nicelt in the book.
pic related.

Thanks! I'll try to find a torrent of this book. How about designing small arms, artillery, fighters, ect? Does this book get into that or should I look for a specific book in that genre?

you can apply what you learn from the book to weapons. the book goes over planes/cars and other things. but you'd be better off looking into books on weapons if you want to go further.
but literally everything in this book you can apply to everything you draw be mechanical or not

Scott Robertson also has a bunch of youtube vids where he discusses drawing vehicles etc in real life so you understand better the proportions and placement of things.

go outside and draw cars.
it always helps to have a physical version of something you want to draw.
also scott robertson like everyone else said.
