I agree. Enough Rembrandt. Not that he even gets posted here, so I don't know what you mean.

But avant garde is also trash. I don't see why that quote is a defense for avant garde art. It's the interpretation of history which is exactly wrong with it. It doesn't create anything lasting and will fade to obscurity if the populace wasn't reminded forcefully of it.
