Yes, you'll make some decent money if you have the goods but eventually people will get sick of you and move on to the next pornstar. After your porn business dried up you'll have a very tough time finding work in the regular industry because of your stained image. It's a short-term solution for short-term thinking people, but you won't be able to make a life-long career out of it. There are always exceptions like Sakimichimichanga or Sasha Grey but don't fall into the "survivorship bias" trap.

The thing about porn I've heard from people who do it, the successful ones all WANT to be drawing porn, and the specific fetish type shit they're drawing. The less successful ones do it because it's an easy market, their heart is never in it, and they just can't put up with the degeneracy on a subconscious (if not conscious) level.
