it works, theres a variety of options, like straight lines, ellipses etc in addition to it being a stabilizer.

photoshop cc crashes but works with Krita, so I do my lines there then go back

I use it for Photoshop CC 2015, but there's a delay even when you optimize the settings. I only use it for digital inking to get those perfect curves. Otherwise I leave it off.
