Why is it that I can never nut to Shadman's shit? There's something about his art that's so off putting but I can't put my finger on it. God you guys are pathetic. If you think pro artists don't trace or use excessive amounts of reference you're just plain stupid. There are so many people who post here all depressed because they can't draw shit from their imagination because of the "true artists don't need references" meme that has been pushed by NON-ARTISTS.

Real artists hid the secrets behind their tricks for as long as possible to preserve the magic. The reality is very few draw straight from imagination. If you look hard enough you will find tracing, ripping off other artists designs/ideas and all kinds of stuff that will make you appreciate art much less. I'm not saying Shadman isn't being sorta lazy but this is about efficiency to keep producing art quickly. What matters more...the end result or how it was achieved?

I'll take someone producing hundreds of pictures a year over some perfectionist drawing from their imagination and producing a dozen pieces a year. This is fucking FAP MATERIAL. Stop treating it like high art for god sake.
