Do professional artists draw their characters naked first before drawing in the clothes/armor?

I understand that back then this was true which is why most heroes are in spandex or half-naked but what about now?

most of them have drawn their characters so many times they can skip straight to clothes/armor after setting up a rough body construction with perspective. you can always look up streams or videos of professionals drawing.
