It doesn't really matter to anyone else if you trace something. Nobody really cares. The point is, you're only hurting yourself by using it as a crutch. You won't be able to draw anything without having the perfect reference. There are plenty of examples of shitty comic and anime artists with broken perspective and inconsistencies everywhere because they had to rely on a bunch of references that don't really fit together. So unless you want your art to be kinda shit you should just learn to construct the head from scratch.
