>"cyberpunk" piece
>Japanese temples superimposed onto a neon-lit city at night
Let's adapt a slow-paced post-cyberpunk anime with realistic environment and poignant atmosphere.
But what if people don't get it's sci-fi?
Well then let's add a bunch of big colorful saturated high-contrast holographic bullshit
>also gigantic Muslim head hanging in midair
>"Airlines Welcoming"

Honestly those hologram things are dope. But I'm a pleb so.

How exactly are these "dope"?

>"cyberpunk" cityscape
>normal cityscape image but with the brightness turned down and neon shit added

hehe all the effects from GitS so far look really bad. Hopefully they are just early stand-ins. Looks like a fan-made trailer.
>"Fantasy" landscape
>silhouette of a person with a stick in the foreground with green hills in the middleground that is lit by god rays

What were we thinking.....of course japanese architectural designs wouldn't exist in a cyber punk setting. You set me straight

They miss the point of entirely.
The world of GITS isn't some americanized shit hole full of holographic advertisements everywhere.

>early stand-ins
Thats not how film trailers work kid. These aren't video game trailers. Usually what you see is what you get.

It is not uncommon for things to change between trailer and movie release. Sometimes there are even changes in a scene from one trailer to the next. Something like a futuristic flyby of a city scene is probably more susceptible to change than other things. All that said, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't change, either.
I'm really wondering what they are going to do about her body. Sometimes her body suit has panel lines in it, sometimes not. Then in some scenes she clearly has normal aged human skin that looks nothing like the super airbrushed body suit thing. Derp.
