Sight-Size drawing is an issue I'm noticing in a lot of artists when asking about their work process, they can't draw from imagination and need constant pose reference matched up with their canvas.
How do we break out of this shit? I know several locals who could do so much better but they're handicapped by this method of drawing.

You are either able to draw imaginatively or you can't. You can work on the skill side of it, but if you can't imagine a composition, you never will.
