What are the differences between Wacom Intuos and Intuos Pro?

Besides price.
>>
>>2759755

pen pressure and more hot keys / radial menu and the word 'pro' in it to make you feel better than the uncool kids
>>
>>2759759
by the way nobody really uses those hotkeys so take your pick
>>
One of them is a bit overpriced and the other one is overpriced a lot.

Thats the difference.
>>
>>2759764

Which would you recommend?
>>
>>2759774
the Huion Giano
>>
>>2759755
People are giving you retarded bad advise. The current Intuos Pro is just the good old Intuos, Intuos 5 to be exact since hardly anything changed there since the last generation other than rebranding.
The Current Intuos is a rebranded Bamboo, the cheaper/shittier line.
What you want to buy is the Intuos Pro.
>>
>>2759778
Go home and charge your pen, Huion boy.

Although i have a rippedoffcom now, I previously owned a huion. And i had to charge my pen every couple of months for a few hours. Then i got the battery powered pen after that and i went three months without changing the batteries and then got a cintiq. So i dont know, id rather charge my pen every couple of months for an hour than spending hundreds of dollars more for the same fucking features. jesus christ you guys have been memed so hard its retarded.

pen tilt sensitivity.

mostly a meme feature: i've seen it used to great effect only on corel painter's hard media brushes. photoshop support is a mess, though.

How are Huion's drivers compared to Wacom?
I have to reset them every fucking day on my wacom

Wacom does not have a wire coming out of its pen holder like some parasite.
>>
>>2759868
I had that problem too once, I don't remember what fixed it, but the solution has to be out there somewhere.

Anyway for your question, Huion support isn't as ubiquitous as Wacom, that is one of the principal drawbacks of a Huion tablet vs a Wacom one apart from the weaker pen. However, I've used the Giano in Photoshop, Krita, CSP and Open Toonz and it seemed to work fine. I bought the Giano for another artist friend of mine a while ago and he recently told me that Autodesk Sketchbook diddled with their software-it might not work as well as it was with the recent release.

Paying 300 dollars more for a pen. I don't know how you can't see that you are the retard here. I just can't understand it. You are willing to defend a company that fucks you in the ass constantly.
WHY. This is just mind boggling
>>
>>2759868
These days, they are actually better than wacom.
They used to be absolute shit, but they have new drivers and a new interface now and work pretty well. I've had a Huion for 6 months now and I haven't had a single problem.

topkek, are you going to tell me now that Krita is another low budget alternative that imitates photoshop? How much did that cost you, a third of what photoshop costs or something?

Guess what the highlighted software program behind the stylus and filed next to all of the other Adobe products on my taskbar is, fampaisano

>topkek, are you going to tell me now that Krita is another low budget alternative that imitates photoshop?

Krita is a free, open-source software. It is an alternative to Photoshop, but with a better animation feature. It is a resource hog though.

Yeah I bet that 10k*10k 20 layer Patreon porn you're working on isn't hogging resources in Photoshop™

I want to get a display tablet, but not sure which. Looking for something that
s precise, is durable and has high definition. Any recommendations?

Monoprice 21" display is probably the best Cintiq alternative I've seen.
>>
>>2759784
>The Current Intuos is a rebranded Bamboo, the cheaper/shittier line.

On the product page there doesn't seem to be any major differences in terms of features. The main differences are the pressure levels (2048 vs 1024) and the fact that the Pro has tilt detection, meaning you can tilt the pen and shade with it as you would do with a real one.

Is there any other difference? Because to me it seems you would only get the pro if you cared about the buttons.
>>
>>2760879
The Pro is more accurate with a higher resolution, has an eraser on the stylus and the buttons aren't in a retarded location. Also it comes in large.

Whereas 5 years ago it was a choice between the intuos and the bamboo with the bamboo being a waste of money unless you were broke or completely unsure of whether the digital art thing was for you, now it's a choice between the intuos and chinkshit that has everything but pen tilt and the eraser and is twice as big for a third of the price.
>>
>>2760916
I can't find mention of that higher resolution on Wacoms' website, are you sure you're not just referring to the pressure sensitivity levels?
>>
>>2760925
Lines per inch. 2540 lpi vs 5080 lpi. It's down in the specs.
>>
As a student with an older Wacom Bamboo who knows basically nothing about tablets in general, what would be a cost-efficient tablet that's just larger and more sensitive? I don't need a screen display or anything.
>>
>>2760930
Right now, either the huion 1060 or giano depending on how much you want to pay.
>>
>>2760934
Not him, but what if after customs and shipping fees the price for a Huion would be the same or more as a Wacom. Would it still be worth paying for the Huion?

I see people recommending the Huions, but there is no way for me to get one for cheap.
>>
>>2760936
The 1060 is 70USD on amazon and the medium Intuos Pro is 289, but both are on sale right now. The bamboo/shituos is 200USD for a medium, for comparison.

If I lived in whatever banana republic you're in, I would get the huion as long as it cost less than half of what the Pro would cost you.

How much are they after customs and shipping anyway?
>>
>>2760936
ebay, order one with free shipping.
Itll just take a while
>>
>>2759760
I use them. For sketching I don't need more than 3-5 buttons and it's really comfy, especially when I work from my armchair.
>>
>>2759755
What is the answer of this joke?
