I have been giving up on drawing for a few times now. Last time I drew anything was in february this year. I want to break this cycle. I know that I love drawing, it's just i get easily frustrated.
I will try once again, hopefully this time I'll continue to improve myself. I will try knowing my past mistakes. I will try knowing that I have to go through that hard wall to make it. I don't know what is waiting for me in the end and if I even get there but I WILL TRY.
Godspeed /ic/

good luck op, you can do it!

Just remember that it's like doing fitness: you're infinitely more likely to succeed if you have a gym buddy.
Find an art buddy.

I never quite thought about this until now. It makes so much sense. How does one get an art buddy though?
/ic/ is my art buddy . i dont need one of those in real life. i have a few people at work that are /beg/ tier artists that look up to me and ask for advice if that counts though.
its tough sometimes op, just keep at it and think of how much better you will be next year when you keep it up, that s what i do.

Join a decent community, hang around their IRC or discord or whatever, you'll find someone of similar skill who's as motivated and engage them to be your friend or bait them to be your rival or whatever.
Probably better if it's online because if you start to outstrip them in terms of skills then it's probably not gonna last.

>if that counts though.
Nah, that's more charity on your part.
/ic/ is kinda a shit art buddy.

i think /ic/ is a pretty good art buddy, its a d/ic/k some times but it gives me books and advice when i need it. i have improved more than i ever have and its assholishness keeps me motivated.

>I WILL TRY
To make it, you are not gonna.

>/ic/ just being a good art buddy and trying to tease you.

He's not wrong, tho. Don't say stuff like "I'll try", because that means you're already expecting to fail.
