A reminder, ladies and gentlemen, that genuine human stupidity does exist! :^)

WHAT do you want to draw? draw it. doesn't matter how it turns out, just start producing.
I started out drawing fantasy and it looked horrible. completely cubism monstrosities (I got better imo). Eventually, you'll gain confidence in your skills.
Also, no one can draw lines, don't worry. There's rarely a straight line in drawings. And if there are, use a ruler.

There's ressources and all but even that seems somewhat overwhelming for a complete beginner like myself. I just don't know what should I learn first like proportions? anatomy? how to draw a face? It seems unclear to me, I think the sticky is too advanced IMO

classic case of liking the idea of drawing but not the reality
just give up now
(or do charles bargue's drawing course)

Yeah it doesn't help having ADD and getting bored every 5 seconds doing something. If it doesn't look like Da Vinci-like after 5 minutes I get suicidal.

God tier art takes hours at the absolute minimum. It also takes years of practice to even be able to do that. As someone with mental health issues as well, I hate to say this, but you'll have to get over that if you want to do art.

Have you tried drawing things that make you laugh? Like instead of trying to draw some highly detailed self portrait try drawing a rabbit humping a chipmunk.
Or draw scenes that involve a lot of individual pieces like a whole page of faces. Each face only taking 2 or 3 minutes but then still building up to a larger picture rather than one small disappointing piece.
You can try drawabox to help you get started

all of it. get to fucking work instead of shitposting. obviously you start with basic forms before you learn to draw something as complex as a human face.

Go to the sticky in the beg thread and start with keys to drawing.

you have to read the books it recommends and actually do the exorcises.
