Alright, I want a tablet. It's either a medium intuos or huion 610pro. I always hear that wacom tablets are very popular so I'm not sure. It's just the price is basically triple that of a huion 610pro but isn't the actual screen of a huion bigger than the intuos? I don't..

I've got an intuos4 medium that I've been using for almost 7 years now, and really like it. This year I started to get some small connection problems with the wire, but it actually has two ports so I just switched to the other one and it works fine now. Never tried the huion so can't say anything on it. Just wanted to chime in that even if wacom is more expensive they have a reputation to last a long time, I have known other artists who used their tablets for like 10 years without problems.

Always go wacom. Always.

Wacom, pls

Medium size is the sweet spot. The large is REALLY large. Medium alone is pretty huge.
Go away, wacom shills.

Take the Huion. It's good enough for testing and should carry you through for some years.
Wacom is "popular," because it was the only game in town for very mysterious reasons (probably them cockblocking every competition with patents.)

Wacom® Is the best brand. The industry chooses Wacom®

How big is your monitor? This matters in making a decision of the size of your tablet. I'd say a 24" is the biggest I'd recommend for a Medium for. Bigger monitor then that and you should really consider a Large.

And I'll just ad that I've had my Intous Medium 5 for... I think 5 years now and I've never had any issues with it and it works for all programs I've tried! It's only the drivers that fall out now and then, but that's fixable and not a big issue.
I literally just bought a large intuos pro yesterday night and I read this thread... whoops

I guess I should be asking now - do you mean by too large as in the actual tablet is too big, or does the size affect drawing on a tablet less than 24" in any way?

Well, the Intous Pro Large is a phenomenal tablet (pretty big tho, so it needs some desk space), so I don't see how you did anything worth regretting...
