Yes Loomis is a meme. Him being a meme doesn't magically mean he's a useless learning resource, the reason he's meme tier is because he teaches a lot of the fundamentals beginners need to learn. 9 times out of 10 when a beginner royally fucks up a drawing a Loomis book offers a solution.
