Personal vendettas are against the rules, newfriend.
Keep your bile in your tumblr.
>>2704449
still better than anything you can ever create :)
>>2704473
So you gonna post your patreon or what?
>>2704483
that proves nothing
write in the landing page description "I'm OP" screen cap it and post
>>2704497
ultimately it doesn't mean anything if you believe me or not, but OP patreon is a good example that proves it's completely doable to have no art skills and get a nice payoff

This is such a childishly stupid analysis of this whole situation. For a successful patreon, you need to offer something that people want. Be that fanart, beautiful illustrations, tutorials, porn, or in this case, a webcomic.
If you are a story teller that is able to engage their audience with their work, then yes, you don't need very good art. That doesn't somehow mean the conclusion is you don't need good art period. There are thousands of equally bad artists who make absolutely nothing on Patreon.

Quality is less important than appeal. Quality is judged by fellow artisans, while appeal is judged by laymen. Guess which group has more people.

damn bet that guy loves showin his kids pixar movies
How do i get NOTICED on patreon?
>>2706636
You don't. Patreon is for when you already have an established fanbase, at which point it's just a matter of linking them to your patreon and hoping at least 1% of them will give you money.
>>2706653
that's a lie
>>2706677
Great argument you got there. People don't go to Patreon to search for artists they want to give money to. They only give money to artists who they are already fans of. If you believe otherwise, you're a fucking moron.

>They only give money to artists who they are already fans of. If you believe otherwise, you're a fucking moron.
they give money to people who create content they enjoy, they don't necessarily have to be fans prior. the 'you need a fanbase to start patreon' is a lie. good marketing and content > fanbase used to getting stuff for free

>no ones told me why they haven't
ok
>>2708005
By God you're right. There's not any real reason why i shouldn't try, you never know where you'll find an audience for your work

I don't have a webcomic.
I won't catch lightning in a bottle - for every shit artist on patreon getting paid there are dozens of shit artists on patreon not getting paid.
I don't care about petty internet shit-flinging and whining incessantly about how unfair life is that unskilled people get paid for marketing their product.
