Make them look like babies, pups , and kittens.

Use big heads and small bodies. It's ingrained in our biology to find anything that looks like a baby cute.

It comes down to practice really. No amount of loomis rules of proportions is going to make you good at drawing. You have to practice a fuck ton until you just know where to put the shapes. Copy the shit out of the artists you like
