Are there people who make a living doing caricatures for private events (i.e., weddings, company picnics, birthday parties)?
I've seen how much you can make at amusement parks and it's kind of grim.

Nooooooooooooooo. You can't make a fucking living off this shit. It's usually volunteer or seasonal part time work.

Idk people I know who don't attempt to do it full time at all tell me they are able to get away with charging at least $100/hr with a 2 hour minimum. If you could get 2 events a week at that rate you'd be pulling in something like $30k a year working like 10 hours a week including transportation and stuff. Obviously the big challenge is finding clients but they go through event planners and seem to get jobs.
I know a guy who does it pro and has a house and a wife and two children who are 17+. It is possible but I'm really not sure how he does it, I think he sells prints, does classes, works events and all kinds of stuff.

Your forgetting about travel expenses. meals. etc. You can't live of it lol.

I never said they did faggot. Also it's not like you don't have to pay for meals or travel expenses to virtually any other job so I don't really see how that matters. And anyways it's not like you are travelling every day or have to take jobs hours away.

You can't live off it. lol.
