Hello /ic/!
I was just wandering, what are some good books for someone who wants to learn how to draw better, make comics, cartoons and possibly even make animations?
and also who are good artist and animators, to follow, including any drawing tutorials i can find on youtube?
Check the 'one-stop begginer's guide' in the sticky, pal.

got any other advice, a cook doesn't learn every recipe from one cook book or even one pallet of cooks

Ok then thanks!
>>2648573
you have any advice you can give me?
anything you recommend?
>>2648573
I can't admit to owning many of these types of books myself so can't make any other suggestion I'm afraid.

anything anyone recommends is good enough for me

you want me to complain "boo hoo i'm shitty at drawing and i want to kill myself boo fucking hoo"
i'm just inspired to draw and i want to get better, by asking for some advice that's all.
is that wrong?

Apart from books try searching for stuff on John K's blogs. Google John K curiculum.
the preston blair books are great. he worked for both disney and mgm.

His landscapes were decent but he was weak on figures which was why he wasn't accepted into art school.
And the rest is history.
