Like another anon said, it has elements from medieval european armors and samurai armors, but I also see something from later european armors. To find inspo for this kind of stuff you could look into various periods (iirc armors from Germany got very intricate at some point, like 1500 and later) but I think its very hard to piece together all those different elements and make them look both cohesive and original.
