With that said, yes of course you draw on the screen. If you weren't planning on doing that you shouldn't have gotten it to begin with (also, you shouldn't have gotten it to begin with).

The only Cintiqs that are even remotely worth it are the massive ones, simply because they're bigger than any monitor a regular tablet could function properly on.

Draw on whatever you want. Digital doesn't replace traditional just because you bought an expensive tablet. I have an Intuos 3 and an iPad Pro and still do most of my sketching and studies on paper, digital is convenient but it's still a compromise when it comes to tactile sensitivity and control.

It'll take some time getting used to the slippery glass, but once you do, it's pretty easy. Also, get a screen protector asap, to increase friction and avoid wear.
