The Sargent stuff was the same stuff you'll find if you google around for info on how Sargent painted. You'll know you're reading the right stuff if it's written in the pov of a student explaining how he taught and some lines like "no wonder your paintings are like feathers if you use brushes like these!" and "he put out enough paint as if for a dozen pictures."

All that stuff was in Craig's Sargent notes.
The stuff at the bottom of the page I only saw once- the geo forms stuff. It wasn't anything that isn't covered in Scott Robertson's "How to Render." It's some detailed things that get over looked in most books but a very detailed book like Scott's covers it all. (Ex: you're reading a book that's overlooking geo form things if it doesn't explain why the core shadow jumps from cone to cylinder if the cone is sitting on top of the cylinder.)
