With the western release of Monster Hunter X/Monster Hunter Generations I thought it may be time to have a thread about Monsters. I personally find drawings/paintings of such Monsters very interesting and thought that maybe some of you guys share the same feeling. I think a good way to create or design a creature is to think about on how it relates to it's environment. What does it provide to it's ecosystem besides a corpse for the land to feed on or an unique defense mechanism besides huge claws and fangs, like camouflage or voice mimicry.
