Use all of your space in a smart way. Glue jars/cans to your walls and store one specific kind of tool in them, keep all of your same pens/brushes together, etc. Also socks help a lot for that, the elastic keeps the whole thing together. Also keep in mind that you'll have to tidy up your shits regularly or else it's gonna be hell to find back anything in there.

I don't bother, I just work with the filth. You should see Francis Bacon's reconstructed studio, the place is a shithole, still a great artist though.
