I needed something to turn in for my art class final so I did this in about 30 min. It's my cat. Could I pass it off as an impressionistic piece or does it look like shit?

Impressionism, I dont know, the strokes are "spontaneous" enough but the lighting and atmosphere is rated poor or nonexistent, which is something impressionists mastered.

Damn son, get serious about something or you'll find yourself at 30 wondering what your life would have been like if you put in the work as you clock out of a job you hate and eat dinner cooked by a wife you settled for.
