You will never find a artist mannequin that has the same proportions or range of motion as the human body. Personally I only use mannequins to help figure out general positioning, general foreshortening, and general blocking/lighting for composition. If you want to study the human form, I would recommend doing studies from photographs and going to nude model sessions at local art workshops/colleges.

If you feel a mannequin will help you, try the Art S. Buck Anatomical Figure.

You are looking to do something very specific from art. You don't need to be a great artist with thorough fundamentals to make quick anatomical sketches for patients. I would suggest instead to just study medical anatomical art. You'll cut down the time you need to spend studying art tenfold, and as a med student, you most certainly do not have the time to go down the same road as your art school friends.

Honestly, I'd just like to make my art "more pleasing" to look at. Clean, refined you know. Also, time permitting I'd like doodle cartoons or just something decent looking while not overly complex. Something like this image here, to me it seems like a rather "quick" and fun image but nothing major like a full anatomy study.

I think you should read the thread about hand pain on this board, it's got some nice info. If the problems really bother you that much I suggest you see your PCP. I honestly couldn't diagnose without seeing anything and frankly this isn't the place for it.
