Gameplay-wise, definitely yes. Total improvement over FE13.
Personally, I'm a shitter who is into characters and comfiness, and it's okay in those aspects. My main issue is that I have to pay $80 minimum for all three routes because of all the cliffhangers and loose threads in my first playthrough.
If you're planning on getting all three routes of the game, make sure to buy the non-Revelations route through the game menu, so you don't pay the full $40 for it. You only need less than 2000 blocks for the 2 additional routes if you purchase them digitally, so I'd buy the first route physically.

Interesting idea, although I prefer that everyone having the same deadline as it is and enjoying the end of the day at the same time, the only disadvantage to the current system is with topic of the day the few people trying to forza that happen to live in a bad timezone or something.

I know the name of every bone and surface affecting muscles, I've learned (and will probably never use) the formulas behind linear perspective, I've broken down every measurable part of the body into fractions of head units and with them I can figure out the dimensions of any part of the body in inches if I know the person's height (assuming ideal proportions.)
The reasoning behind it is that you can't draw it right if you don't know what's right. In my first 3 months of learning to draw I spent 80% of my time reading books/memorizing things and the other 20% drawing. I'm hoping that frontloading all that knowledge will pay off

Nope it just means that you're not "behind" a day and for you to win you'll have to keep going even if you're the last artist standing. Let's say it's day 300 and there's only 2 people left. A flawless day 1er and you. If they drop out with their 300 submissions that means you'll be at 298 (-1 for being a day 2er, -1 for having lost your token with the new system.) That means that to win you'll have to post for 3 more days. If you drop out before then the other guy wins. If you only post 2 times then it's a draw.

Imagine someone asked you right now to draw a lion without any reference and assuming you've never studied lions. Draw that lion dozens of times and when you've finished you'll have a lion symbol in your arsenal. It's what you draw when you think "I want to draw a lion." It doesn't look amazing but it's immediately recognizable as a lion.

Also you're not accounting for the possibility that there was an under sketch to this, and these lines weren't just slapped down instantly but possibly worked on for a while. Some people spend forever to get their line in the right place and have to undo and redraw it over and over.

I accidentally started the flawless 22 obsession but I swear it was an accident. Someone was feeling down about how long it was taking for people to drop out and saying it was going to go on forever, and all they wanted to do was be in the top 25 but didn't want it to take years. I'm a student (not art school). Sometimes people talk to me in the dining halls and I've studied in a group a few times but I can't remember the last time I met with someone for the sole purpose of hanging out with them. But I do have hobbies other than drawing, at least. So I guess I'm somewhere in the middle, I don't really have friends but I don't have zero social interaction and I'll probably have a happy life with my career. That's my greatest fear man, that we all graduate and just fall off the face of the Earth and just fall out of touch with one another. But I think at least a good handful are open to the idea of making a studio together and pumping out a few games. Most of my good friends aren't artists, they all are in fields of creation and building, so we always have something to talk about besides our similar interests.
But yes, it is sad, that as artists you can't even be brought together on that anymore. Watching them move on, it's like watching passion die, but I've watched that happen a few times with some good friends myself and just sit there and watch them move on. I feel kinda like the betrayed themselves and the group, but as I got older I realize that my interests changed just as theirs have and after that I wouldn't criticize them over their choice.

It just feels like, year after year, life just gets quieter, sadder and empty. People have less time for each other. There's little to no chance to engage in the same level of camaraderie that you once had in high school (and my experience is particularly skewed: I had so much of that as I went to a boarding school). Bi-monthly encounters are big events when we once talked to each other constantly a few years ago. And I'm just sitting around thinking, "Why is this normal? I think flash animations are okay, but video games are kind of a slippery slope since they're so time-consuming, I guess it's good if they make you happy, but I'd advise finding a more constructive hobby, or making sure you limit your time spent on games. I do feel like that. I'm at school for 3D, and when I entered, I was straight demented on doing JUST 3D and pretty much denounced anything that wasn't, I even said 2D was barely related to 3D. 4 years later I'm here with stronger 2D skills than 3D and I hate my semester because of me being railroaded into 3D when I actually had the choice of either or. So I feel like did betray myself somewhat, not that I don't enjoy 3D, but I can't help but respect what drawing, painting, etc. can do for the art world and the things one can do with it.

I dunno man, both those things are pretty recent, our generations will be the first to be old with them really, so who know what the world's stance will be on say 40~50 year olds playing games, in spite of this a large demographic of players ARE men in their 30s/40s. I think by the time most people on this site are in their 40s~50s it will be generally more accepted to be playing games at that age because we will be the ones declaring such. But it is generally inactive as a hobby, so maybe pick up jogging or swimming, I jog near everyday and it can be refreshing to just put on some music and blow your lungs out.

I had a decent amount of acquaintances and a handful of "friends" in high school, as in we'd sit together at lunch or in classes and shoot the shit, but aside from that we never hung out outside of school. I have devised an evil plan.
One of my teachers is absolutely horrible, the kind of witch that literally everyone including other teachers hate. She's verbally aggressive, arrogant and generally acts in a really despisable manner.
During her class, she always puts the same playlist in spotify, with the volume turned down. I have acquired the link to this playlist and saved it.
Now, over the last months they have been exposed to this teacher and the music at the same time, so I think they must have developed some kind of psychological link between the two.
Also, keep in mind that a continuous tone played at around 17kHz or 18kHz played within a certain dB range can be very hard to hear, but SUPER annoying.
