When asking for payment for a commission on PayPal, it unprofessional to ask for buyers to send money as a friend rather than as a client?

The reason I'm asking is because PayPal takes a chunk of your money when they send money in exchange for goods and services but not as a gift between friends.

I don't want to seem like a cheapskate but $10 is $10.

It's really unprofessional.

If you have the same commissioner more than once, it's fair to ask, but it's bad business because if Paypal catches you with the word 'commission' or 'work' in a friend payment they can freeze your account.

I use the invoice function anyway to avoid my commissioners from incriminating porn words into the reference field and getting me banned, but that's only relevant for porn artists.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
