How to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome when you draw for 8+ hours per day?

Draw with your shoulder

Shit advice, because its very hard to draw small objects with your shoulder. Also I dont have much space to use it with ease.
>>2399054
do hand exercises and shake out your wrists every so often
>>2399057
Shit excuse. if shoulder doesn't work go from elbow. Stop crying and just work
>>2399054
Regular masturbation breaks. It really works.
>>2399054
google carpel tunnel stretches and apparently they work.

That's why you draw with your shoulder, so you get used to it
>>2399054
You don't.
You just get it and suffer through a pain like a man. Remember that pain is just a feeling, you can ignore it.

or you could take painkillers
>>2399054
Draw bigger so you can draw with the shoulder, remember to stretch periodically and build forearm strenght with weightlifting exercises.

One thing that helps me with the pain is finding the area on the sole of my foot linked to the shoulder and massage it.
If you can feel a knot and work it out it doesn't hurt as much.
That aside stretching and taking breaks.
I also try not to use my dominant hand after a long day.

Then kill yourself.

I will, you dumb cocksucker.
Exercise forearm regularly, don't forget to stretch it. Don't draw from your wrist. If you use a mouse, use it with your other hand, because clicking will destroy your already exhausted hand.
I know everyone is saying "draw from your shoulder", but I have shoulder problems so I just draw from my elbow and works fine. I pivot my elbow on a pillow, on my lap, and it pretty much forces me to draw from my elbow. It's super comfy too.
