Im curious as to how other artists contruct their heads and faces. Do you use the loomis method? Or do you use your own self taught method? Post a quick sketch of how you construct the head and face and compare it to others
If you think that op pic will get you an honest reply you'd be sadly mistaken.
Although, not a bad idea for a thread.

I usually don't draw the construction likes out, I just visualize the head as a big block.
How you start doesn't really matter. All the head methods out there are basically just showing you How to draw the head. Once you understand and can execute said method, then you can move on distorting the proportions to your liking. Loomis is a good start, from there you can review Hampton's lectures on the head, or Vilppu, or both. Here's a furry artists that followed the loomis method and moved on from there.
Finally found some paper. I like how Protos explained it

Funnily enough Proto said the same thing
Since question thread is useless as usual, I might as well try here:
Going through Loomis, Heads and Hands.
At plate one at the moment. I dont understand the proportions of the constructions, I get that the spacing between the top of the head, hairline, bottom of nose, and chin is the same. The problem arises when it comes to the part you cut off on the sides.
