By looking at reference and studying it. If you knew it looked wrong then you clearly knew you didn't have the know how to wing it. You just didn't bother to double check with reference. There are multiple other things wrong with your image btw (the overall image is flat as fuck). Issues that could be solved if you actually bothered to just use reference and study your reference. Also I love hips too but you have to have curves in moderation. Shoulders are out, in for the ribcage a bit, in for the waist considerably, out for the hips however much you want, and then in a bit for the legs too. The side on our right is ok, but the leg on our left looks a little dislocated.

Basically use reference, and focus on proportions as much as you have on forms. Plus draw a few pages of hands, observation and imagination. Keep at it anon.

He lifts poses and forms out of hentai. Does some very very rough sketches. On top of that he does less rough sketches trying to make it look like he is constructing form, hides the rough sketches and references, and then posts that here.

He does a slow trace of that making outside edges heavier than inside lines. After which he cuts in with flats and gradients in a generic manner emphasizing the roundness of the form. He goes over that blending with a soft brush. Then using features that either burn or dodge or screen he starts to airbrush in highlights and other things to make it look shiny and new. Some tweaking with filters and transform tools and he posts for attention.

His method is very easy to do if you don't think about too much. Simply collect resources of poses you can understand, find a style that is clear for you to build a pattern off of, and then find a construction method that works for you.

Take that method and use it to copy your resources. Do that again and again and again until it looks right. Firez does the same exact thing, he lifts from people like desertbutterdog. He just sits there copying using construction methods he found in some book or online.
