Like that other guy said a smartphone or something can still be used, take a clear pic up close and touch up the lighting/contrast/color filters/whatever in a pirated photoshop until it looks good

if you really can't order a used tablet/scanner off ebay or something I'd say just get the scanner irl since tablet prices tend to be hiked way up compared to regular cheap scanners in-store
