Clearly, you don't see it in this viewpoint, and that, even though I disagree, I think I understand why. People like danafag and peatrice guy regularly abuse peoples kindness by continually asking for requests on these threads even though they have hundreds of images of their characters already. Danafag and peatrice are just the most exceptional ones, in actuality most people who post in requests threads have asked or are going to have asked for their character in numerous other threads already and just want more; In other words, requestfags are mostly made up of regulars, although some regulars do do requests for others to make up for this.
But even from this point of view, you should still see that the artist is still doing something virtuous that should be encouraged, and there are still innocent requesters who aren't abusing their kindnesses, and also, that even if there is injustices in these threads, they still can make quality posts, so you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Not only that, but considering their dedication, moving all request threads into a single thread doesn't actually solve the problem of danafaging, rather it just makes it less visible, which is actually a bad thing, because I wouldn't have drawn something for danafag if I had seen prior that he had made a million other requests.
tl;dr you believe that request threads are not quality threads, because people like dana abuse them, so they should be moved to general threads, but I believe they shouldn't because there's still good in them that people enjoy, and it doesn't solve the problem of danafagging.
