Can some one of you locals give me a rundown on how this board operates? I JUST realized this place exists after 10 years and its 100% the kind of community i want to be a part of.
But the front page has not changed in over an hour, is this the kind of place where you post and come back a month to see if it has moved or is this board just people who come, post, realize its slow/dead as fuck then leave and never come back?
Can't speak about how other's do things, but i imagine it's a little bit of both? This board is indeed really slow.
What i usually do is check up on threads I'm into daily, and maybe check on the front page of /i/ once a week for any new interesting threads.
I take a long time to draw, and i have tons of other chores and stuff to do in real life, so i dont have much time to contribute unless i make really bad and quick sketches, but i guess that's ok here, so i might try doing that sometime.

What threads are you part of right now anon? So hard to tell what threads are dead.

If a thread has many drawings by different people it usually means it is alive I guess. But I don't even know if this concept actually applies here since it takes almost 30 days for a thread to 404 and only a single post to bring it back o page 1.

Even if a thread is "dead" sometimes it can be "revived" so yeah it's hard to tell. I'd just post and contribute to any thread i want to.
