Hey /i/.

I've been drawing seriously for about two, maybe three years now. I'm considering giving up and finding a new hobby. Pic is a collage of some of my best work in recent months. How is my art? Should I continue?

It's pretty good, I'd say. But only keep drawing if that's what you want to do.

If you like doing it then why stop? Plus have you ever tried drawing robot/weird stuff? (like picture)
I think you might be good at it.

i guess it depends if its something you love doing
and would do anything to get going at it.
Your skills are a little above amateur. I would probably do more figure drawings and gestures and head sketches from real references. Look for tutorials on google or youtube for art related stuff. Also, when looking at these tutorials don't look up stylized so quickly. Look up realistic head sketches on youtube. Stylization comes from real life

Why not use your skill to draw comics?

if you think its fun, then of course keep it on! never give up

If you like drawing, keep doing it! I regret stopping after thinking I wasn't good enough based off of other people's comments.

If you feel stagnant, I would suggest taking a local art class in something that interest you. You'll meet other artist and it will force you to get out of your comfort zone.

I would also get a sketch book and try to draw a study everyday. Art is all about repetition. If you are actually studying the body and the world around you, the quantity will eventually become quality. And make sure you still draw what your drawing in op too! You'll get burnt out if all you do is draw studies.

Honestly anon, it isn't that great. If you enjoy it though, continue. Study from life. Definitely keep drawing crazy and absurd shit, but also make sure to take cues from real life as well. I've had an innate talent for drawing my entire life but been lazy about it since I graduated high school. I haven't lost any skill, but haven't gained any either. No point in continuing if you honestly feel like there's no point, but you have potential to get better if you don't quit.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
