How many years has it been now since the painter worked and uploaded?

IS it broken, or is it an entirely new painter?

i haven't been around for some time so idk when it happened, but it's cos java stopped being safe with that whole huge security risk thing i assume

the painter now is basically garbage, most of the features missing, including changing layer opacity and water color, no ability to zoom and it doesn't even recognise ctrl and z as undo, you have to hit the button for it instead

is there anything out there that could replace it? like an actual tegaki thing? (the images come up as "tegaki.png" for the filename when made in the current painter, but idk how tegaki actually works, i figure better than this heap of shit but?)

it's depressing. i miss /i/

yeah, looks like it. neat.
however, dunno if it'll retain all the original layers & sprites unless you're talking about the .pgo files themselves.

Even if not adopted by 4chan, it (or any improved JS-based painter) could be packaged as a Greasemonkey script so those who wanted to use it on 4chan instead of Tegaki can do so.
