Always wondered what this would look like colored.
Something I was working on since Childhood days (age 12) Still can't get around to coloring it. Drawing him I can do fine but coloring I get so fucking lazy.

Depending the program you can sometimes use an anti-aliased brush
Otherwise you can erase the "jaggies" from your outline layer by carefully going over each edge with an eraser tool
If neither of those you'll have to draw either slowly in a full line (a good technique if you have a steady hand) or quickly and ctrl-z until probability gives you the line you like
For the former I recommend Lazy Nezumi (free "demo version" have only the most used smoothing features)
